RMK, a self-taught artist, finds solace and fulfillment in expressionism, often reimagining and paying homage to the masterpieces of the Blue Rider group. Influenced by Heinrich Campendonk, Franz Marc, Gabriele Münter, and Wassily Kandinsky, he continuously expands his artistic horizons by exploring the styles of other notable artists such as Kiki Kogelnik, Max Ernst, Johannes Vermeer, Max Pechstein, Kees van Dongen, Johannes Molzahn, Fernand Léger, and Gustav Klimt, incorporating their techniques into his own paintings.

He challenges the notion of original artistic genius, highlighting how masters like Goya replicated the works of Diego Velázquez, Picasso drew inspiration from Braque, and Campendonk was shaped by his association with Kandinsky. No reproduction can fully capture the essence of an original, as every work exists within an ever-changing context. He emphasizes that since we are continuously shaped by history, our perspectives remain in constant flux.
